Cooper Flagg’s mom, Kelly Flagg, is making headlines after Duke’s Final Four loss to Houston. Before the game, Kelly jokingly said she’d get a tattoo if Duke won the national title, with her son Cooper having a say in the design and placement – anywhere except her face. Unfortunately for Kelly, that tattoo plan won’t be happening after Duke’s 70-67 loss to Houston ¹.

In the highly anticipated matchup, Duke had a promising start, with Cooper Flagg leading the team in scoring. However, the team struggled to maintain their lead, and Houston made a remarkable comeback, ultimately securing the win. Despite the loss, Cooper Flagg had an impressive game, scoring 27 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and blocking three shots ².

While Kelly Flagg won’t be getting that tattoo, she’s still incredibly proud of her son’s accomplishments. His parents, Ralph and Kelly Flagg, both played college basketball, with his mom playing for the University of Maine and his dad playing for Eastern Maine Community College. Cooper’s twin brother, Ace, is also a talented player, currently committed to the University of Maine ³.
