Committed to Tennessee, Braylon Outlaw Gets an Inside Look at Ole Miss’ Future Plans

Tennessee’s Braylon Outlaw Explores Ole Miss: What’s Next for the Elite Linebacker?

Braylon Outlaw, a linebacker for the Class of 2026, made his way to Ole Miss’ campus for their junior day event this past Saturday.

The 6-foot, 212-pound standout from Pike Road High School in Alabama, who has been committed to the Tennessee Volunteers since November, was eager to explore what Ole Miss had to offer.

Outlaw, currently ranked as the 43rd-best linebacker in the country and the 19th-best player in Alabama for the 2026 class, is already receiving significant attention from top college programs.

Despite his commitment to Tennessee, the visit to Ole Miss was an opportunity for Outlaw to learn more about the Rebels’ program, facilities, coaching staff, and overall campus environment.

At Ole Miss, Outlaw spent time speaking with coaches and familiarizing himself with the team’s goals for the future, particularly how they envision his potential role in their defense.

For the young linebacker, these types of visits allow him to gain a well-rounded perspective on the college recruiting process and further refine his decision-making moving forward.

Although committed to Tennessee, Outlaw’s openness to exploring other programs highlights the importance of evaluating all options before signing with a school.

College recruitment can be a fluid process, and many players continue to gather information, form relationships with different coaching staffs, and assess how a particular program can help them develop both athletically and academically.

Outlaw’s commitment to Tennessee remains strong, but his willingness to attend junior days and evaluate other opportunities speaks to his maturity and desire to make the best possible decision for his future.
