BYU’s Mihailo Boskovic to Return Next Season Amid Questions of Conduct

Brigham Young University (BYU) forward Mihailo Boskovic has confirmed his return for the 2025–26 basketball season, following a tumultuous year marked by a midseason suspension for violating team rules. The 6-foot-10 Serbian standout, who joined the Cougars in 2024, was sidelined for ten games alongside guard Elijah Crawford, a decision head coach Kevin Young described as necessary to uphold the program’s standards .Boskovic’s initial impact on the team was significant. In BYU’s season opener against Central Arkansas, he contributed 11 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a steal in just 18 minutes off the bench . His versatility and shooting ability quickly made him a valuable asset to the roster.Despite the setback, Boskovic’s commitment to the team remains unwavering. His return is anticipated to bolster BYU’s frontcourt, providing both experience and skill. As the Cougars look ahead to the upcoming season, Boskovic’s presence is expected to play a crucial role in their pursuit of success.
