BREAKING: Rutgers transfer LB Mohamed Toure has committed to Miami.
The Hurricanes have added yet another piece to the defense via the transfer portal.
On Friday afternoon, Miami acquired former Rutgers linebacker Mohamed Toure over Penn State, North Carolina, and Indiana. Toure, who has been playing college football since the 2019 season, had a breakout season for the Scarlet Knights in 2023 while working with current Miami defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman.
According to Pro Football Focus, Toure totaled 93 tackles, ten coming for a loss, and 4.5 sacks while generating 25 quarterback pressures
