Florida cornerback Dijon Johnson was arrested May 2 for multiple charges, including a third-degree felony for possession of a controlled substance, second-degree felony possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, misdemeanor possession of cannabis less than 20 grams and a misdemeanor charge of resisting officer without violence, according the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office website.
“We are aware of the situation of Dijon Johnson,” a UF spokesperson told Swamp247. “We will continue to gather facts, cooperate with and monitor the legal and administrative processes.”
Johnson was arrested May 2nd by the Tampa Police Department at 11:30 p.m. ET and booked May 3rd at 1:31 a.m. Johnson, 21, was released on bond on May 4.
