Clemson has added another piece to what was already a stellar offensive line class.
Four-star OL Leo Delaney (Providence Day, Charlotte) told The Clemson Insider that he has committed to the Tigers, choosing Clemson over Michigan and Penn State. Delaney originally set a commitment date of July 11.
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound prospect has been a frequent visitor to Clemson over the past year. He visited twice during the spring, including the Elite Retreat, before returning for the big official visit weekend.
“It was pretty unbelievable,” Delnaey told TCI. “Clemson is a really special place.”
“I have family ties to Clemson, as well. My uncle went to Clemson back when the lake was being built back there. It is just an amazing opportunity for me.”
Delaney, who picked up one of Clemson’s opening offers last summer, is the fifth offensive lineman to commit to the Tigers in the 2026 recruiting class. He joins four-star Braden Wilmes, who announced late last year, and four-stars Adam Guthrie, Grant Wise and Chance Barclay, all of whom committed the weekend of the Elite Retreat.
247 ranks Delaney No. 62 overall, No. 5 among all interior linemen and No. 5 in the state of North Carolina. His addition now gives Clemson 16 verbal pledges in a 2026 class that currently ranks inside the Top 5 nationally.
