The Arkansas Razorbacks had a relatively successful season under head coach John Calipari during his first year on the sidelines.
Arkansas entered the NCAA Tournament as a No. 10 seed and wound up taking down two prestigious programs with legendary head coaches.
In the first round, the Razorbacks defeated Bill Self and the No. 7 Kansas Jayhawks. Arkansas then followed that with a victory over Rick Pitino and the No. 2 St. John’s Red Storm. The ONE Razorback Roadshow hosted by John Calipari is scheduled for Tuesday in Memphis, Tennessee, and Wednesday in Little Rock, Arkansas. In Calipari’s first season coaching the Razorbacks, several former blue-chip prospects were highlights, such as Adou Thiero, Boogie Fland and Karter Knox.
Despite the previous success, there’s a tall task facing Calipari. All three players declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, leaving a difficult offseason on the table for Calipari.
Nevertheless, Calipari’s teams have proven to produce some of the best talent in college basketball over the past several years, such as Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns and Devin Booker.
As Calipari and his coaching staff prepare to enter their second season with the Arkansas Razorbacks, the legendary college basketball coach will take some time to meet with fans in an event away from the court.
