Noah, a 6’6″ sharpshooting wing from Harlan County, Kentucky, knows the weight of the jersey. As the lone native Kentuckian in this year’s freshman class, he speaks with the voice of the Commonwealth — and he sees something special forming.
“We’ve got guys who could’ve gone anywhere,” he said, referencing SEC preseason All-American Jayden Quaintance, dynamic lead guard Darnell Porter, and former Baylor standout transfer Tobias King. “But they came here because of what Kentucky means — because they want to win, and they want to do it together.”
Insiders close to the program have been raving about the group’s on-court chemistry and relentless competitiveness.
