Ole Miss hoops signees Tylis Jordan, Patton Pinkins earn bump in final 247Sports 2025 player rankings
The Ole Miss men’s basketball program only signed two players as part of its 2025 high school class, and expectations won’t change for them as freshman come summer and beyond.
On Wednesday, the final 247Sports 2025 basketball prospect rankings were finally released. Four-star power forward Tylis Jordan and four-star shooting guard Patton Pinkins both received a small, but positive bump in said rankings. Both players were McDonald’s All-American nominees.Jordan (6-9, 210 pounds) moved up two spots to No. 74 overall, despite the industry-generated composite index having him No. 47 overall in the class. He’s been committed to the Rebels since summer of 2024 and proceeded to sign in November. His composite rating of 0.9797 makes him the second highest rated signee for Ole Miss in the 247Sports composite era. He capped off his senior season at Wheeler High School (Marietta, Ga.) winning a state championship alongside a few key Ole Miss targets in the 2026 and 2027 classes.
“When I committed, I knew what I was looking for in a school and stayed loyal. I didn’t even worry about what people had to say. Ole Miss isn’t a, quote on quote, basketball school at the time, but I didn’t care about people’s opinion. I wanted to go where I felt like it was the best in terms of helping me,” Jordan told Inside the Rebels after signing.
“Ole Miss basketball is turning heads, and I feel like I kind of created a wave with going to Ole Miss
