Baylor University’s football team has secured a commitment from Jamarion Phillips, a highly touted linebacker from Dallas South Oak Cliff ¹. Phillips, a three-star recruit, is considered one of the top linebackers in the nation, boasting an impressive offer list of 29 schools, including powerhouses like Florida State, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Texas A&M ¹ ².
The 6-foot-1, 220-pound prospect has consistently demonstrated his skills on the field, recording 90 tackles, six for loss, three sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble in his junior season ². As a sophomore, he tallied 95 tackles, 23 for loss, and 14 sacks, helping South Oak Cliff reach the Texas 5A D-II state runner-up finish ³.
