Auburn Athletics is giving fans and collectors a special opportunity to own a piece of Tigers history with a surplus sale set for Friday, August 2. The event will be held at Jordan-Hare Stadium and promises a wide variety of items available for purchase, ranging from team-issued gear to stadium memorabilia.
The surplus sale is a tradition among major collegiate athletic programs, allowing departments to clear out inventory while offering supporters a chance to take home unique Auburn-related items. This year’s sale is expected to feature athletic apparel, footwear, equipment, and other branded items used by Auburn student-athletes across various sports. In past years, similar events have included jerseys, helmets, cleats, and warm-ups, as well as items from locker rooms and training facilities.
Doors open to the public at 8:00 a.m. and will remain open until all inventory is sold. Early arrival is encouraged, as many fans are expected to line up in hopes of finding rare or limited-edition pieces. All sales are final, and items will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event also gives Auburn Athletics an opportunity to recycle and repurpose old gear that is no longer in use by teams, aligning with sustainability initiatives while engaging the fanbase in a meaningful way. Proceeds from the sale will go back into supporting Auburn’s athletic programs, helping fund future equipment and facility upgrades.
Whether you’re a die-hard Auburn fan, an alumni looking for memorabilia, or just searching for athletic gear at a great price, the surplus sale on August 2 is a must-visit event. Be sure to bring your shopping bags—and your Tiger
spirit.
