Is Felipe Anderson about to return to the Premier League?
Felipe Anderson has regained his best self after returning to Italy following a disastrous time with West Ham United. He barely got out of the blocks with the Hammers, but returning to Serie A has paid benefits, especially for Lazio.

The 30-year-old Brazilian has been an important figure for Maurizio Sarri. However, there are issues with his contract renewals. Some teams have already been alerted to the likelihood of Anderson leaving in January, with Tottenham showing an interest.

Aston Villa and Fulham believed to be the teams interested in bringing the 30-year-old Brazilian back to the Premier League. Both sides have a good chance of signing him, albeit they will face heavy competition from Juventus. The Cottagers have been looking for experienced recruits who can aid them in the short- to medium-term going ahead.

Aston Villa are looking for a winger and have been since the summer. There are links to a number of players, including those from the Premier League. Unai Emery remains interested in Emile Smith Rowe. However, if they believe they require such a player, Anderson may look to be a less expensive and more experienced alternative.

According to the article, Anderson and Lazio appear to have struck an impasse on the contract renewal. The 30-year-old Brazilian is open to remaining and signing a new contract. However, his €4 million wage demands have been troublesome.

Lazio are willing to provide a four-year term with an annual salary of €3.5 million, and they remain confident about the conclusion. It is unclear if they will succeed in their mission. Still, the pressure is clearly on the Italians, given that Premier League clubs may easily pay that much money to the Brazilian.

As a result, Aston Villa and Fulham have a great opportunity to bring the 30-year-old Brazilian back to the Premier League and use his knowledge in their season-long quests.
