At 27 years old, Sweat brings a wealth of experience and success to his new team, following a standout career with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Transition to the Arizona Cardinals

Sweat’s decision to join the Arizona Cardinals reunites him with head coach Jonathan Gannon, who previously served as the Eagles’ defensive coordinator. This continuity is expected to enhance Sweat’s impact on Arizona’s defense, leveraging their prior successful collaboration.

Impact on the Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals’ investment in Sweat underscores their commitment to bolstering their defense. His proven track record in high-pressure games and consistent performance makes him a valuable asset. Sweat’s presence is anticipated to elevate the Cardinals’ pass rush, providing a formidable edge rusher to complement their existing defensive lineup.
