In one of the most emotional and unprecedented gestures in college sports history, BYU legends Steve Young and Puka Nacua have come together to give back to the university that shaped their dreams. The two stars, representing different eras but sharing the same unshakable Cougar spirit, donated three state-of-the-art luxury buses and an astonishing $68 million to the BYU football program.
The donation — revealed during a surprise ceremony at LaVell Edwards Stadium — immediately sent shockwaves through the college football world. The newly unveiled “Legacy Fleet” buses are said to include training tech, recovery pods, and comfort features unlike any other college team transport.
“We built this legacy together,” Steve Young said emotionally. “This is about gratitude — for what BYU gave us, and what it continues to give future generations.”
Puka Nacua, now an NFL standout, added: “This isn’t just about football. It’s about family, faith, and giving back to the community that raised us.”
The BYU administration called it “a historic moment of unity and generosity.” For fans, it was more than a gift — it was a reminder that greatness isn’t measured by touchdowns or trophies, but by how deeply you give back to
where it all began.
