The future is arriving fast in Chicago as Lachlan Olbrich and Noa Essengue officially touch down in the Windy City—and Bulls fans couldn’t be more excited.
These two promising young talents are set to make their debuts in the 2024 NBA 2K Summer League in Las Vegas, which tips off Thursday, July 10, live on ESPN networks and NBA TV.
Olbrich, the skilled big man from Australia, brings an exciting mix of size, soft touch around the rim, and high basketball IQ that caught scouts’ eyes. Meanwhile, Essengue—an athletic forward with strong defensive instincts and a growing offensive arsenal—adds toughness and energy to the Bulls’ Summer League roster.
With Chicago in the midst of a retooling phase, this Summer League offers a prime opportunity to evaluate fresh talent and set the tone for the upcoming season. And who knows? One of these guys might just earn a serious look from the front office come training camp.
