The Los Angeles Chargers Are Poised to Overtake the Chiefs in the AFC West
The AFC West has been dominated by the Kansas City Chiefs for several years, thanks to the brilliance of Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid. However, the 2025 season could bring a major shift in the division’s balance of power, as the Los Angeles Chargers look increasingly capable of dethroning the reigning champions.
With a revamped coaching staff led by Jim Harbaugh, the Chargers have ushered in a new culture of discipline and physicality. Harbaugh’s arrival has already injected life into a team that had long underperformed despite boasting top-tier talent. Quarterback Justin Herbert is entering his prime and is surrounded by a deeper supporting cast, including a healthy offensive line and a promising group of receivers led by Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston.
