The Detroit Lions have added three players to their roster following the 2025 rookie minicamp, including former Michigan State defensive lineman Raequan Williams. Williams, who previously played for the Chicago Bears, participated in the Lions’ minicamp on a tryout basis and impressed the coaching staff enough to earn a contract. His addition bolsters the Lions’ defensive line depth as they prepare for the upcoming season.
In addition to Williams, the Lions signed safety Nathan Lindsey and wide receiver Erik Lora. Lindsey, a native of Inkster, Michigan, recorded 41 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and three interceptions at Fort Hays State last season. Lora, a two-time All-America selection at Eastern Illinois, was previously signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent but was waived in late August of the previous year.
These signings reflect the Lions’ commitment to strengthening their roster through both the draft and undrafted free agency. With the addition of these three players, the Lions continue to build a competitive team as they look ahead to the 2025 NFL season.
