Georgia Football to Air on WJCL 22 Throughout 2025 Season
Georgia Bulldogs fans across southeast Georgia can rejoice, as several of the team’s 2025 football games will be broadcast on WJCL 22, a move that strengthens regional access to one of college football’s premier programs. The announcement, made earlier this week, confirms WJCL’s ongoing partnership with the SEC Network and ABC, allowing viewers in the Savannah area to catch the Bulldogs in action without cable or satellite.
According to station officials, at least four regular-season games are currently scheduled to air on WJCL 22, including the season opener against UT-Martin, the SEC showdown with South Carolina, and two additional matchups to be determined later in the year. The station has also confirmed plans to broadcast pre-game coverage and weekly highlights during the season.
“We’re proud to continue bringing Georgia football to our viewers,” said WJCL Sports Director Frank Sulkowski. “There’s an incredible appetite for Bulldogs football in our region, and we’re committed to keeping fans connected every step of the way.”
The move comes as part of a broader effort to enhance local access to college football content, particularly for fans who prefer over-the-air television. For many in Georgia’s coastal region, WJCL has become a reliable source for Bulldogs coverage, including game day features, coach interviews, and recruiting updates.
For Georgia Athletics, the expanded coverage is also a recruiting and branding win, ensuring the program maintains visibility in one of its most talent-rich regions.
As the 2025 season draws near, fans in southeast Georgia can look forward to more than just national exposure—they’ll have hometown coverage of their team, complete with expert analysis and real-time updates, all through WJCL 22.
