The LSU Tigers softball team concluded their 2025 season ranked No. 11 in the D1Softball Top 25 Poll, following a challenging postseason run that ended in the NCAA Regionals. Despite a strong regular season performance, the Tigers were eliminated by Southeastern Louisiana in the opening game of the Baton Rouge Regional, allowing Nebraska to advance .
Throughout the season, LSU demonstrated resilience and competitiveness, finishing with a 40-13 record. Under the leadership of head coach Beth Torina, the team achieved its third consecutive 40-win season and the 10th under her tenure . The Tigers’ consistent performance secured them the No. 11 spot in the D1Softball Poll and No. 13 in the Softball America Poll .
Despite the early exit from the NCAA Tournament, the Tigers’ season featured notable highlights, including a series win against Florida and a strong showing in the SEC. As the team looks ahead, the foundation laid during the 2025 season positions them for continued success in the future.
