As a freshman at Tulane during the 2024–25 season, Williams showcased his versatility and skill, averaging 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. His shooting efficiency was notable, with a 48.5% field goal percentage and 41.2% from beyond the arc .
