Auburn LB commit hanging with Georgia royalty during official visit.
Georgia football is in the midst of their first big recruiting weekend of the summer. This weekend is marks the first official visit weekend in Athens as Kirby Smart and his staff have nine elite recruits taking their official visits to Georgiaq.
Eight of those recruits are four-stars with the ninth recruit being the lone five-star visitor this weekend, but out of all of those recruits the most intriguing visitor is four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle.Toodle is the No. 168 overall player in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He also is the No. 9 linebacker in the 2026 class as well as the No. 10 overall player from his home state of Alabama.
Toodle may seem like a straight forward visitor for Georgia, but the reason this visit is so interesting is because he has been committed to rival Auburn since July of 2024. But even though he has been committed to the Tigers for nearly a year, he is still showing interest in Georgia and giving them a chance to win his recruitment.
And it appears Georgia is doing everything they can to accomplish that because Toodle was picture with none other than UGA linebacker Jalon Walker during his visit.

If Georgia is going to flip Toodle from Auburn, they are going to have to do everything right from this point forward in his recruitment, and there really is nothing better that Georgia can do than having Walker hang out with Toodle during his visit.
Walker is fresh off being selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons while also winning the 2024 Butkus Award, which goes to the nation’s top linebacker. That is something that Auburn is not able to say to Toodle during their pitch to him, so this should speak volumes to Toodle as he decides if Auburn is the right place for him or if he should flip to Georgia.
Time will tell if Georgia is able to convince Toodle to ditch Auburn or not, but having Walker spend some time with Toodle surely won’t hurt Georgia’s chances.
