Michigan State hockey is looking to retool and reload its roster ahead of the 2025-26 season, the fourth in Adam Nightingale’s career in East Lansing. On Sunday, they got a major boost to the roster that is forming. Michigan State has earned the commitment of Anthony Romani, a standout in the Ontario Hockey League.Romani will come to MSU via the Barrie Colts, where he finished his OHL career, but is most known for his 2023-24 campaign with the North Bay Battalion, where he tallied 111 points in just 68 games.
A right handed shot forward, Romani is a native of Pickering, Ontario, Canada. He is 6-foot-1, 190 pounds and is 19 years old as a 2005 born player.
The Vancouver Canucks drafted the future Spartan in the sixth round of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. He will have all four years of eligibility remaining
