Michigan Defensive Lineman Alessandro Lorenzetti Commits to Baylor.
Michigan defensive lineman Alessandro Lorenzetti has committed to Baylor following his official visit this week. He becomes the third defensive line addition for the Bears through the transfer portal this offseason, joining Texas A&M transfer nose tackle Samu Taumanupepe and Tulane transfer nose tackle Adonis Friloux. The 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect has not seen playing time in three years with the Wolverines. He has rotated across both the offensive and defensive lines while at Michigan. Lorenzetti will likely play defensive tackle for Baylor to help replace the loss of Brendan Bett, who transferred to Florida this spring.
Lorenzetti was a three-star prospect in the 2022 class who held offers from Baylor, Duke, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Penn State, Syracuse and Georgia Tech before signing with the Wolverines.
He has two years of eligibility remaining
