Jaxson Hayes, the center for the Los Angeles Lakers, seems to be a great booster of young business owners.
On Thursday night, the 23-year-old was spotted in Los Angeles offering money to children.
In reality, the children were attempting to sell Hayes candy bars, according to TMZ Sports. Despite turning down that offer, he nevertheless made the decision to give them a portion of his money.
According to TMZ, Hayes once seemed to obtain one of the young men’s phone number and transfer him money since the child could be heard yelling, “He just sent me $100!”
When all of this happened, Hayes was at a Louis Vuitton event, so maybe he was feeling upbeat from seeing the newest in designer clothing. It’s also possible that all he wanted to do was help young people.
Hayes’s financial portfolio will do well, regardless of the rationale behind his distribution of the funds. He’s produced an approximately $24.3 million over the course of his NBA career.
Hayes signed a two-year contract in June, and he is currently in his debut season with the Lakers. In 59 games, he is averaging 4.0 points and 2.8 rebounds.
