Georgia football enters the 2025 season as the reigning SEC Champions, and everyone knows they have a great chance to repeat as champions once again this season. But there are some teams out there who pose a serious threat to winning the conference this fall.
One of those teams is Texas, who was the second best team in the conference last season. Georgia beat the Longhorns twice last year, once on the road and once in the SEC title game in Atlanta, so the Longhorns may be the team most motivated to take UGA down this season.
Texas will have at least one chance to do so as Georgia’s SEC finale this season is a home date with the Longhorns, and there is always the chance these teams do battle in the SEC Championship game once again this season.
And while Georgia was able to handle their business against the Longhorns last year, it is going to be a lot more difficult to do so this season.
