Auburn University proudly welcomed its newest cohort of Tiger Trail inductees in a glittering ceremony on April 18, 2025. Four outstanding individuals—each distinguished by their leadership, service, and unwavering school spirit—were honored for leaving an indelible mark on the Tiger community.
The induction event, held at the historic Memorial Student Center, brought together alumni, faculty, student leaders, and special guests to recognize the remarkable achievements of:
Dr. Maria Thompson, whose groundbreaking research in environmental sustainability has steered Auburn’s campus toward greener practices.
Lt. Col. Jason “Jay” Fulton ’02, celebrated for his valorous military service and dedication to mentoring veteran students.
Coach Alicia Jenkins, whose championship-winning tenure elevated the Tigers’ softball program to national prominence.
Tierra Nguyen, Class of 2018 graduate whose philanthropic work has transformed local youth outreach initiatives.
Chancellor Tim Hammond lauded the inductees for embodying Auburn’s core values of “Love and Respect” and “Hard Work and Discipline,” noting that each honoree’s story “inspires the next generation of Tigers to blaze their own trails.” Attendees enjoyed a multimedia presentation highlighting the inductees’ journeys, followed by a reception on the Grand Concourse.
As these four leaders join the storied ranks of Tiger Trail alumni, Auburn recommits to fostering a community where leadership thrives across every field—from science and service to athletics and beyond. Their induction not only cements personal legacies but also lights the way for Tigers everywhere to pursue excellence with courage and conviction.
War Eagle!
