The NCAA Transfer Portal has been buzzing with activity, and we’ve got the latest updates on some of the top players, including Nico Iamaleava and Micah Hudson.

*Nico Iamaleava*
Nico Iamaleava, Tennessee’s quarterback, is set to enter his second year as the team’s starting quarterback. He’s expected to be joined by new backup quarterback George MacIntyre, a four-star recruit who will compete with Jake Merklinger for the backup spot. Iamaleava had an up-and-down first year as a starter, completing 63.8% of his passes for 2,616 yards, 19 touchdowns, and five interceptions ¹.

*Micah Hudson*
Micah Hudson, a former five-star wide receiver recruit, has entered the transfer portal after spending one season with Texas Tech. Hudson caught eight passes for 124 yards in his lone season with the Red Raiders and has already scheduled a visit to Texas A&M, who are considered the favorites to land him ² ³.

*Other Top Players*
– *Eric Singleton Jr.*: The sophomore wide receiver has entered the transfer portal and is being heavily recruited by schools like Auburn and Ole Miss. He led the Yellow Jackets with 56 receptions for 754 yards and three touchdowns.
– *Kevin Concepcion*: Concepcion, a wide receiver, has named his top six schools, including Alabama, Colorado, and Florida State. He had a breakout freshman campaign with 71 passes for 839 yards and 10 touchdowns.
– *Barion Brown*: Brown, a wide receiver, is expected to join LSU after entering the transfer portal. He has 122 career receptions for 1,528 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in his 37 career games at Kentucky.
– *Sam Pendleton*: Former Notre Dame offensive tackle Sam Pendleton has committed to Tennessee with three years of eligibility remaining. He’ll compete for a starting role after losing four offensive linemen.
– *Star Thomas*: Thomas, a running back, has committed to Tennessee after running for 871 yards at Duke in 2024. He’s expected to play a big role for the team in 2025 ⁴ ³.
