Patriots Reveal Three 2025 Nominees For Franchise Hall Of Fame The inductee will be announced next month

One of three Patriots legends will be the next to receive enshrinement into the storied franchise’s Hall of Fame.

New England on Thursday morning revealed Julian Edelman, Adam Vinatieri and Logan Mankins will serve as the 2025 nominees for the prestigious honor. Fans can cast their vote for the recipient through April on the team’s website, and the inductee will be announced in early May.

Mankins played all but two of his 11 NFL seasons with the Patriots, who selected him 32nd overall in 2005. The surehanded guard received six Pro Bowl selections, five Second Team All-Pro nods and a 2010 First Team All-Pro honor over the course of his New England tenure. Mankins also was named to the Patriots’ All-2000s, All-2010s, 50th Anniversary and All-Dynasty teams.

Vinatieri broke into the NFL in 1996 when New England signed him as an undrafted free agent. The iconic kicker played a decade with the Patriots, who joined Mankins on all of those aforementioned celebratory clubs. Vinatieri received a pair of Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro selections with the Patriots and was instrumental in helping the franchise win its first three Super Bowls. Two of those championship triumphs were sealed by Vinatieri kicks as time expired, and his famous boot in the “Tuck Rule Game” remains one of the greatest plays in New England history.

Edelman played his entire 12-year career in Foxboro, Mass., where he arrived as a 2009 seventh-round pick. A converted college quarterback, Edelman helped the Patriots win three Super Bowls and was named MVP for his performance in New England’s most recent triumph on football’s greatest stage. He was selected for the Patriots’ All-2010s and All-Dynasty teams and currently ranks second in franchise history for receptions (620) and fourth in receiving yards (6,822)
