Ohio State Make Notable Staff Hire For 2025 College Football Season
Ohio State were forced to see not one, but two of their top coordinators leave for greener pastures. However, the departure of Chip Kelly and Jim Knowles has opened up vacancies for a number of up-and-coming assistants to get instead.
According to FootballScoop, one of the newest additions to the Buckeyes’ coaching staff is going to be highly-touted wide receivers coach Colin Keanu. Per the report, he will fill the role of offensive analyst for the Buckeyes this season after spending last year as the wide receivers coach at Western Illinois. He previously coached wide receivers and quarterbacks at the University of Nevada.
“Sources tell FootballScoop that the Buckeyes are adding Colin Keanu to their offensive staff,” John Brice wrote for the outlet.
“Per sources, Keanu — most recently with a brief stint as the Western Illinois wideouts coach — is set to fill an offensive analyst role for Ohio State.”
It’s only been a month since Ohio State won the national title over Notre Dame in the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff, but they’ve already been forced to give their coaching staff a full makeover.
