A Las Vegas native, Thomas made an immediate impact at UNLV. As a freshman, he averaged 13.6 points and 5.1 assists per game, starting all 34 games for the Runnin’ Rebels. In his sophomore year, he improved his performance, earning Third Team All-Mountain West honors by averaging 15.6 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.0 rebounds per game, with a 35.3% shooting rate from beyond the arc.
Kentucky’s interest in Thomas aligns with their strategy of recruiting experienced players to build a competitive team.
