The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) is set to return to Detroit on March 16, 2025, as part of its PWHL Takeover Tour™. The Minnesota Frost will face the New York Sirens at Little Caesars Arena, with the game scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

This event offers Detroit fans a unique opportunity to witness top-tier women’s hockey firsthand. The previous PWHL game in Detroit, held on March 16, 2024, attracted a record crowd of 13,736 spectators, setting a U.S. attendance record for a professional women’s hockey game.

In addition to the game, fans can attend open practices and autograph sessions with the teams on Saturday, March 15, at the BELFOR Training Center.

The PWHL’s presence in Detroit not only provides exciting entertainment but also serves to highlight the growing viability of hockey as a professional career for women.
