Ohio State football has named Billy Fessler as the new quarterbacks coach, following the departure of Chip Kelly, who left for the Las Vegas Raiders after serving as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Fessler, a former Ohio State quarterback, takes over the role as part of the reshuffling in the Buckeyes’ coaching staff. He is expected to bring a solid understanding of the quarterback position to his new role, having played the position in the Big Ten, where he gained valuable experience.
This promotion comes as the Buckeyes continue to adjust following key coaching changes, as they aim to remain competitive and build on their success moving forward.
