Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal is no stranger to competing for elite recruits, and he’s doing so again with 4-star wide receiver Brayden Robinson from Texas. Robinson has expressed interest in Miami, Ohio State, and Notre Dame, and has set up official visits with each school. His first visit will be to Miami on June 6.
The 5-8, 160-pound Robinson is currently ranked as the No. 36 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 32 player from Texas, with 39 scholarship offers in total. Along with Miami, he also holds offers from prestigious programs like Alabama, Auburn, and Nebraska.
Miami is hoping to secure Robinson’s commitment in December, and getting the first official visit is crucial for the Hurricanes. By hosting Robinson early, Cristobal and his staff have the opportunity to impress him first, putting pressure on Ohio State and Notre Dame to match the experience. With Miami’s campus offering a stunning backdrop for the visit, the two-day stay could be the key to sealing the deal. We’ll see if this visit leads to a commitment, but Miami is in a strong position.
