BREAKING: Florida State HC Mike Norvell has fired his Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and WR coach, per Chris Vannini

Florida State head coach Mike Norvell has made a sweeping overhaul to his coaching staff, firing Offensive Coordinator Alex Atkins, Defensive Coordinator Adam Fuller, and Wide Receivers Coach Ron Dugans, according to reports by Chris Vannini. The significant personnel changes come as the Seminoles look to reset following a season marked by inconsistency and unmet expectations.

Norvell’s decision underscores his commitment to recalibrating the program and making bold moves to restore FSU to national prominence. The Seminoles, once dominant in college football, have struggled to regain their former glory in recent years, and this latest shift reflects Norvell’s determination to build a staff that aligns with his vision and standards.

The Seminoles have shown flashes of potential under Norvell, but these changes suggest a need for a fresh approach as they continue to build a competitive foundation. With new staff members expected to be brought in during the offseason, Norvell will have an opportunity to reassess and strengthen the team’s strategic and developmental directions.

As FSU looks to the future, the Seminoles’ fanbase awaits to see who Norvell will bring on to help steer the team back into the conversation as a national con
