FIVE EELS STARS EARN AUSTRALIAN REPRESENTATIVE HONOURS :
The Parramatta Eels are proud to confirm that five of our outstanding players have been selected for upcoming Australian representative duties, showcasing the elite talent within our Club.
Eels captain Mitchell Moses and electrifying outside back Zac Lomax have both been named in the Australian Kangaroos squad for the Ashes tour of England. Their selection is a testament to their outstanding form and consistency throughout the 2025 NRL season, and both will play a crucial role as the Kangaroos take on England in a historic three-Test series.
In further exciting news, Jack Williams, Abbi Church and Chloe Jackson have been named in the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII squads, set to face the PNG Prime Minister’s XIII teams on Sunday, October 12 at Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.
Jack Williams made an immediate impact in his debut season with the Blue & Gold, with his stand-out performances earning him the prestigious 2025 Ken Thornett Medal as the Parramatta Eels NRL Player of the Year.
Abbi Church, Eels’ NRLW 2025 Player of the Year, continued to set the standard with consistently strong performances, while Chloe Jackson’s selection is well-deserved as a rising star of the game.
The Parramatta Eels congratulate Mitchell, Zac, Jack, Abbi and Chloe on their selection and wish them every success as they represent the blue and gold on the international stage.
The Club now looks ahead to the upcoming announcement of the Pacific Championships squads, where we hope to see more of our Eels players recognised for their performances in 2025.
