FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The call of “Woo Pig Sooie” is about to echo even louder in Fayetteville. The University of Arkansas has officially announced a massive $350 million renovation project for the legendary Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, ushering in one of the largest facility upgrades in program history.
At the heart of the plan is an expanded seating capacity, ensuring that more fans than ever can take part in the unmatched atmosphere of Razorback game days. Already one of the loudest venues in the SEC, the upgrades will cement Fayetteville as one of the most intimidating road trips in all of college football.
But the investment doesn’t stop at more seats. The project is designed to create a world-class game-day and athlete experience with sweeping improvements, including:
Expanded & Modernized Seating: Wider, more comfortable chairs, improved student sections, and new upper-deck expansions to maximize fan involvement.
Massive Video Boards & Sound Systems: Cutting-edge LED technology and enhanced sound to keep fans engaged in every play.
Revamped Concessions & Fan Amenities: Faster service, more diverse food options, and redesigned concourses for smoother flow on busy Saturdays.
Luxury Hospitality & Club Levels: New suites, club seating, and premium lounges to attract donors and corporate partners while elevating the Razorback brand.
Upgraded Locker Rooms & Training Facilities: Modernized athlete spaces designed to support recruiting and give Razorback players a competitive edge on and off the field.
Accessibility & Safety Enhancements: Expanded concourses, more elevators, and full ADA upgrades so every Hog fan feels at home in the stadium.
Athletic Director Hunter Yurachek called the project a “game-changer for Razorback athletics”:
> “Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium is the pride of our state. With this $350 million investment, we’re not just renovating a stadium—we’re investing in the future of our players, our fans, and the entire Razorback community.”
The project comes at a crucial time as Arkansas continues to push forward under Coach Sam Pittman, aiming to strengthen the program in the ultra-competitive SEC. In an era where facilities play a huge role in recruiting and national exposure, the upgraded stadium is expected to give the Hogs a decisive advantage on and off the field.
Fayetteville and the surrounding region are also poised to benefit, with the larger crowds and enhanced game-day experiences expected to generate millions in additional revenue for the local economy.
Construction will be done in stages so that the Razorbacks can continue to play home games during the renovation, with completion set for the 2027 season.
Fans have already flooded social media with excitement. One supporter posted: “$350 million to make Fayetteville louder? Good luck to anyone trying to win here! WOO PIG!”
With this historic investment, Arkansas is making it clear: the future of Razorback football will be bigger, bolder, and prouder than ever before.
