Maximo Adams is one of the hottest recruits in the country, and his recruitment is showing no signs of slowing down. The four-star prospect has received over two dozen scholarship offers in July, and the Duke Blue Devils are the latest program to offer him.He announced the offer Sunday afternoon on social media. “Very blessed to receive an offer from Duke University. Thank you Coach Scheyer and staff for believing in me,” he said.
Adams is ranked as the No. 100 overall player and No. 39 small forward in the 247Sports composite rankings. He is also the No. 9 player from California.The Blue Devils will have their work cut out for them in their pursuit of Adams. He has recently earned offers from the Kentucky Wildcats, North Carolina Tar Heels, and several other blue-blood programs. He has never visited Durham, and that will be the next step in their pursuit of the 6-foot-7, 205-pounder.
His recruitment has exploded after a dominant appearance at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam. He averaged 18.8 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in five games against some of the best AAU teams in the country.
