Blue-Chip Edge Rusher Commits To Texas A&M Over Tennessee
Givens announced his commitment to the Aggies just a day after wrapping up his official visit to Texas A&M. The Columbus, Georgia native’s trip to College Station was his final of three scheduled June official visits. Givens visited Washington the first weekend of June and visited Tennessee last weekend before committing to Mike Elko and the Aggies.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound edge rusher ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 61 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. He also ranks as the No. 7 edge rusher and the No. 6 player in the state of Georgia in the 2026 recruiting class
Tennessee pushed hard for Givens, hosting the blue-chip recruit on a pair of visits in short order with the four-star recruit unofficially visiting Knoxville for the 865 Live event in late May before his official visit in June.Blue-chip edge rusher Tristian Givens committed to Texas A&M football over Tennessee Saturday afternoon. Josh Heupel and his staff are also looking to flip four-star Auburn commitment Hezekiah Harris.
