Today, Sunday, May 18, marks an exciting day for fans of Nebraska Cornhuskers football and collectors of sports memorabilia. “NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTIONS” is hosting 12 live auctions featuring a unique lineup of autographed items from some of the most iconic players in Cornhuskers history. All auctions are currently live and open for bidding, but time is of the essence as each one ends today.

To participate, bidders must be members of the official “NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTIONS” Facebook group, as bids are only accepted on each item’s individual post within the group. The auctions include “Extended Bidding,” meaning the listed ending times are approximate and may extend if late bids are placed.

Each item up for auction celebrates Nebraska football greatness, spanning multiple eras and achievements. At 3:10 PM CST, the auction for a jersey autographed by Larry Jacobson, a 2x National Champion, 1971 All-American, and NU’s first Outland Trophy winner, concludes. This is a rare chance to own a piece of early Cornhuskers dominance.

Following closely at 3:40 PM is a black mini helmet signed and inscribed by legendary quarterback Tommie Frazier. A 2x National Champion and College Football Hall of Famer, Frazier remains one of the most celebrated QBs in college football history.

At 4:10 PM, fans can bid on an 8×10 photo signed by Devine Ozigbo, a fan favorite and standout rusher in 2018 who went on to a career in the NFL. At 4:40 PM, a jersey autographed by Lavonte David, a 2x All-American linebacker, 13-year NFL veteran, and Super Bowl Champion, goes up for grabs.

The lineup continues with a football signed and inscribed by Will Shields, a 12x NFL Pro Bowler, Outland Trophy winner, and Hall of Famer, ending at 5:40 PM. At 6:10 PM, a stat jersey signed by safety Mike Brown, one of the “100 Greatest Bears of All-Time,” concludes.

Later auctions include a full-size helmet signed by Roger Craig at 6:40 PM, and a photo signed by MLB star Joba Chamberlain at 7:10 PM. The evening continues with a dual-signed jersey by Jason Peter and Grant Wistrom at 7:40 PM, and a mini helmet signed by Neil Smith at 8:10 PM.

The final item, ending at 8:40 PM CST, is a 2007 Bowman rookie card autographed by Zac Taylor—former Husker QB and current head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals.

With legends past and present represented, these auctions offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity for collectors and fans to acquire authentic memorabilia and celebrate Nebraska football history.
