In the SEC Tournament quarterfinals held at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, No. 17 Ole Miss upset No. 5 Arkansas with a 5–2 victory. The Rebels erupted with a five-run first inning, highlighted by Austin Fawley’s three-run homer. Pitcher Riley Maddox delivered a strong performance, striking out seven over 5.2 innings. The bullpen maintained the lead, propelling Ole Miss into the semifinals against LSU.
🥎 Softball: Rebels Take Game 1 in Super Regional
At Bogle Park in Fayetteville, the Ole Miss softball team edged out No. 4 Arkansas 9–7 in the opening game of the NCAA Super Regional. The Rebels showcased offensive prowess with key hits from Mackenzie Pickens and L. Brady. Despite a late surge from the Razorbacks, Ole Miss held on to secure the win.
