The NBA Draft Combine is getting underway, and the Florida Gators are well represented at the event. Alex Condon, Alijah Martin, and Walter Clayton Jr. are in Chicago going through the Combine to try and impress NBA scouts in advance of the June draft.
Clayton and Martin will be staying in the draft no matter what, while Condon will have a decision to make. And while the NBA Combine doesn’t get nearly as much hype as the NFL Combine, we did learn an interesting nugget about Condon relative to one of the projected top picks.
Florida Basketball Tells The Truth
Condon was measured at the Combine at 6’11” barefoot with a 7’0″ wingspan and a 8’11” standing reach. These all track with what Florida listed him as on their roster for the 2024/25 season.
He also weighed in at 221 pounds, which is down from the 230 he was listed at last season, but that can fluctuate for a variety of factors.

We’re not just talking about fudging an inch. Clayton, for example, measured in at 6’2″ when he was listed at 6’3″.
We’re talking about a lie that even Pinonccio would struggle to make it through before admitting “Yeah, that’s a bit much.”
Maybe there is a reason why Rutgers had two potential top-five picks on their roster in 2024/25 and still wound up with a losing record.
